Submit a Proposal for Our 2026 Conference This year's conference theme centers on building resiliency in Connecticut's
data ecosystem as access to reliable federal data becomes less certain. Sessions will cover data governance, collection practices, data management, linking datasets for long-term impact, and community engagement in data work. Proposals are due July 1, 2026. Accepted presenters receive a complimentary conference ticket.
RAPID Survey 3 on Financial Security and Material HardshipConnecticut RAPID Survey 3 captures responses from 1,163 primary caregivers of children under 6
across 137 Connecticut towns. The survey shows that only 20% of Latino parents and 25% of Black parents reported feeling financially secure, compared to 37% of White parents. Many reported that financial stress has affected both their own mental health and their children's. Read the full report.
Early Childhood Datasets Now AvailableAs part of our work with the Office of Early Childhood and Connecticut's Local Governance Partners, we created a
spreadsheet that provides a wealth of data related to early childhood for use in needs assessments. If you are looking for data on early childhood for your region or community on topics such as Birth to Three access, subsidized early childhood slots, languages spoken other than English in the home, scores on the Kindergarten Entrance Inventory, and much more, you can access the spreadsheet here.
