October 7: Serving Clients Safely: Data Protection Strategies for Uncertain TimesOrganizations face the challenge of providing services without risking people's safety when
sharing personal information. Currently, data stored by the government and nonprofits are being accessed in ways that violate laws and regulations. Our upcoming Data for Democracy session on October 7th will address this problem that nonprofits face today. Dr. Eric Giannella from Georgetown's Massive Data Institute will lead the session and teach participants how to protect data. You will learn how to keep information safe without spending money on new technology, how to store data in better
ways, and when to keep or delete information to protect privacy while still helping clients. Register here.
