Civil Legal Aid
In 2024, Connecticut Bar Foundation contracted with CTData Collaborative to conduct a comprehensive assessment of Civil Legal Needs and Access to Justice in Connecticut. The study examines the experiences of low-income residents across Connecticut, including the civil legal challenges they face, how they navigate existing systems, where those systems succeed or fall short, and the barriers that limit meaningful access. Together, these findings point toward clear, actionable steps to strengthen
