What are Parents' Experiences with Child Care Access and Affordability in Connecticut?
Among Connecticut
families using child care, only 34% of those who were income-eligible for Care 4 Kids subsidies reported using these subsidies. This is one of the findings from the first-ever Connecticut RAPID Survey.
A partnership between The Connecticut Project, Stanford's RAPID Survey Project, and 17 community-based organizations, this survey asked primary caregivers about child care access and affordability. The goal of these surveys is to bring voice and power to parents across the state to help inform programs and policies that are responsive to the needs of Connecticut's
families.
