Dear ,
I’m excited to announce that tickets for our annual conference are now on sale! On December 3, more than 250 professionals will gather in Hartford for Data for Democracy and explore how data both strengthens our democracy
and helps us serve our communities better.
For 14 years, we’ve offered this event free of charge. As more people commit themselves to ethical and transparent data use, our community has grown and our space needs and costs have increased. To ensure we continue providing a valuable experience—with even more opportunities to connect, learn, and support one another—we’ve made the
decision to introduce a ticket price this year.
This year’s conference comes at a pivotal moment. With new and growing challenges to data collection and public trust, it’s more important than ever for nonprofit and public sector leaders to come together, share solutions, and advocate for the data that drives our missions and supports strong
communities.
At our conference, you will be able to
- Learn practical hands-on data skills with Data Tools 101 and 202
- Hear about participatory strategies to engage
people with lived experience
- Learn how to conduct "before action reviews" and "in action reviews"
- And much more! Have an idea for a session? Submit it here by July 15.
Early bird tickets are just $110 through September 8. Check out our session page (which is still in development) for a preview of the breakout sessions and keynote speakers we have in store.
Thank you for being part of this vital community. I hope to see you in December as we work together to protect and advance data for the public good!
In partnership,
Sarah
