Connecticut’s growing need for data analysis, allowing us to better serve communities across the state and further enhance our capacity to deliver high-quality research, actionable insights, and comprehensive data solutions, empowering informed decision making at every level.
We are pleased to announce several promotions and a new hire to our team. Jason Cheung has been promoted to Director of Data and Analytics, Cynthia Willner to Director of Research, Jill Walsh to Senior Geographic Information System and Data Analyst, and Chase Wilson has been hired as a Research Analyst.
Jason Cheung will continue to enhance data literacy and guide organizations in making data-driven decisions in his new role. His expertise in data analysis and commitment to responsible data use are instrumental in furthering our mission to empower
Connecticut's residents and organizations with access to high-quality, user-friendly data and effective communication strategies for diverse audiences.
Cynthia Willner brings two decades of research experience to her expanded leadership role, where she will focus on research for public good. Her expertise spans early childhood care and education, human development and social
policy, child and adolescent mental health, ethical research practices, survey design, and quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Jill Walsh has extensive experience analyzing and mapping data for policymakers, creating tailored analyses and presentations on demographic trends for community partners, and working with public and private agencies to inform
decision-making.
As a Research Analyst, Chase Wilson will work on research and data projects to inform policies, programs, and services in Connecticut within early childhood, housing, civil legal needs, and other areas.
