CTData 2024 Annual Report ReleaseAs we reflect on a year of impactful data-driven initiatives across Connecticut, we
are proud to showcase the meaningful work accomplished through our cross-sector partnerships in our 2024 Annual Report. Our collaborative efforts have strengthened data ecosystems and fostered evidence-based decision-making throughout the state. The success of our initiatives stems from the dynamic partnerships we have cultivated with organizations across the state. These relationships have allowed us to expand our reach,
deepen our impact, and develop more robust data solutions for our communities. We look forward to strengthening our existing partnerships and welcoming new collaborators as we continue this important work. Together, we will harness the power of data to drive positive change.

Our Comment to the Census Bureau's Race and Ethnicity Coding Improvement Project This past Tuesday, we
submitted detailed recommendations to improve the Census Bureau’s Race and Ethnicity Code List, drawing on
years of experience with Census and ACS data. We believe that it is important for people to be accurately represented in the data, especially when it comes to data on their racial and ethnic identities. Our team identified several areas for improvement that, if addressed, should make a real difference in how Connecticut’s diverse communities are represented. For more information,

"Fighting for Home" Documentary Screening The legacy of exclusionary zoning and redlining shaped Connecticut's current housing crisis, perpetuating painful divides across the state. On Feburary 24th, CTData's Fionnuala
Darby-Hudgens will be participating in a panel discussion following a screening of the new CT Public documentary "Fighting for Home: How Housing Policy Keeps Connecticut Segregated" at the Cummings Art Center Connecticut College. The Center for Housing Equity and Opportunity in Eastern Connecticut will host both the documentary screening and panel discussion. The film was produced with support from Connecticut Humanities and the Connecticut Fair
Housing Center.
