Analysis of the 2024 Presidential Election Results in Connecticut
Connecticut’s Secretary of the State
published results from the 2024 presidential election. Using this data, along with data from the 2016 and 2020 elections, we analyzed voting shifts and patterns across the state. Our analysis shows a decline in voter turnout for the 2024 election when compared to the last two elections. Among 90% of towns in Connecticut, there was an increase in the share of votes for Trump over Harris. Additionally, of the 15 towns that flipped from 2020 to 2024, 14 towns shifted from a Democratic to a
Republican majority. You can read more about this data and our findings on our post.
