State Data Plan Feedback 

The Office of Policy and Management's Data and Policy Analytics Division (DAPA) wants your input on the Connecticut State Data plan. As they prepare the 2025-2026 Connecticut State Data Plan, they are seeking crucial feedback from external data users through their first-ever comprehensive survey. This 10-15 minute survey combines multiple choice and open-ended responses to better understand the needs and challenges of data users in the state, ultimately informing our future policy directions.

A Report on Nursing in Connecticut

In collaboration with the Connecticut Center for Nursing Workforce, Inc., we are pleased to announce our newest report analyzing the demographics of students and faculty in Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) programs throughout the state of Connecticut in 2022. 

This report also presents trends in new student seat capacity, new student enrollments, and graduations for pre-licensure nursing education programs from annual statewide surveys administered from 2017 through 2022.

Hartford Youth Data Fellow Info Sessions

Do you work with youth in Hartford? The Hartford Youth Data Fellowship Program offers career advancement for young adults ages 17-24. Fellows earn income while gaining valuable data skills and contributing to their community through hands-on workshops and project development. Working alongside CTData staff, city officials, and community leaders, participants complete a five-month program culminating in a capstone presentation. Learn more at our upcoming informational sessions later this month. Sign up for November 15th from 1-2pm EST or November 19th from 6-7pm EST.

• Connecticut Housing Finance Authority is seeking a Program and Data Specialist. This position will support the organizations planning functions by creating data-driven research that informs and evaluates business and program development.
• The University of Pittsburg Center for Social and Urban Research is looking for a Community Engagement Program Manager to strengthen its ecosystem. The person in this role will help members of the community develop new inclusive structures and pathways for participation and create workshops, documentation, events and other activities to promote their product and bring people together.
