Population Estimates & Updates

Each year, the Census Bureau produces population estimates for each state and county that are different than the ACS 5-year survey that many of us are used to. These are called Population Estimates, and the official measures of population & housing units between decennial censuses. Learn more here.

Census Bureau Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics Demo

The Longitudinal-Employer Household Dynamics Data (LEHD) Products combine state administrative data with census data to understand various aspects of the workforce. With the LEHD data products, you can explore questions such as: How have the wages of people in a sector (ex., manufacturing) changed over time by age? Data Analyst/Programmer

Transportation Mobility, and Parking Internship

The City of Norwalk is seeking an intern with GIS and data management experience in the Transportation, Mobility, and Parking Department. The primary role of the Intern is to review and maintain existing data for quality assessment, quality control, and organization. Other functions may include scanning, digitizing, organizing drawings, data, and other documents and general assistance with day-to-day operations. Emerging Technology Fellowship

XD at the U.S. Census Bureau is now accepting applications for the Emerging Technology Fellowship – a fellowship for individuals with expertise in emerging data technology trends to drive innovation at the Census Bureau and other federal agencies. We’re looking for experts in data science, machine learning, computer vision, cloud deployment (currently in Azure), technical project management, or privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) to join our team.
